WASHINGTON, D.C. –  Senator Thom Tillis is currently accepting applications from high school seniors who are looking to attend a U.S. service academy after graduation and encouraging them to apply before the October 15, 2023 deadline. 

“I am honored to be a nominating source to the service academies and have the opportunity to help young men and women who want to serve our country,” said Senator Tillis. “As we approach the deadline for this year’s nomination process, I encourage any student who wishes to pursue a selfless career in the Armed Forces to submit their application to my office. I applaud all students who are interested in serving our great nation as the next generation of leaders.” 

Applications for the 2024-2025 freshman class (Class of 2028) are due by October 15, 2023. Nominations are available for the following institutions: the United States Air Force Academy, United States Military Academy at West Point, United States Naval Academy at Annapolis and United States Merchant Marine Academy.
