WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) announced a $179.9 million grant for essential drinking water infrastructure upgrades across North Carolina through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). This funding comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that Senator Tillis helped negotiate and pass into law.
“This funding will provide more safe and clean drinking water for North Carolinians by investing in necessary water infrastructure improvements across our great state,” said Senator Tillis. “I am proud to have supported the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that made this investment possible.”
Funding for this grant is based on the Drinking Water Infrastructure Needs Survey and Assessment.
