The $542 million in Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds that will be provided come from $1.68 billion in disaster relief funding secured by Senator Tillis and the North Carolina delegation in October 2018 for North and South Carolina following Hurricane Florence and $19.1 billion in disaster supplemental funds passed last June.
