“As Hurricane Dorian makes its way across North Carolina, we are seeing our first responders and local, state and federal officials working around the clock to ensure the safety of North Carolinians. It is vital that every North Carolinian follows the evacuation orders and warnings of the Governor and local governments and also be mindful of tornado warnings. While homes and property can be repaired or replaced, the lives of our loved ones cannot. If and when the time comes for North Carolinians to apply for assistance, please know that my office stands ready to assist you throughout the process.”
