Today, U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) issued the following statement after the text of the Senate’s health care discussion draft was released:
“Health care is a critically important issue that affects every single American, and I’ve heard countless stories from North Carolinians who have had their lives upended by Obamacare, from hardworking parents unable to afford skyrocketing premiums to insure their families to small business owners who have been forced to cut hours or even let go of employees because of the law’s costly mandates. As I’ve said repeatedly, any replacement plan must be a net improvement over Obamacare, and I look forward to carefully reviewing the draft legislation over the next several days.”
