Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) issued the following statement in honor of Memorial Day, May 30th:
“Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the many brave men and women in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our cherished freedoms and liberties. Although we will never be able to repay the debt of gratitude we owe to our nation’s fallen heroes, we must honor our obligation to care for their loved ones who bear the personal burden of their sacrifice.”
